Cuddles and Hammy

You might think that this picture was posed, you might think that the cat might be thinking about dinner, not a new friend...truth be told, this photo was not posed, merely a cute shot as Hammy climbed up the head of his best friend. Cuddles is normally an avid hunter leaping tree to tree successfully plotting to rid the world of squirrels, and munching happily after showing everyone her best field mouse of the day. Hammy though has become a friend, she gently bathes him, and once or twice this childless (spayed) cat even tried to get Hammy to nurse. I can leave the two in a room together and come back an hour later with Hammy curled up next to the cat, both sleeping happily.
