Hello and Welcome. My online presence began back when web pages were nothing more than text pages and hyperlinks on a terminal screen. How things have changed! While the web and the Internet in general evolve on a seemingly daily basis I've allowed my personal webpages (and Pagesculptor too - more about that in a second) to lapse. Prior to this overhaul my page dated back to late 1998 - and many dot-coms ago. The contents on the server had become a virtual dumping ground - an image uploaded here and there for show and tell but not connected to anything and eventually forgotten.
Every page, every image and essentially my every public thought since 1994 had been saved - my orignal college webpage was uploaded when I lost my college account after graduation - broken links, template graphics, garbage and all - the sheer mass of the stuff is daunting. So the rebirth of pagesculptor.com is one of cleansing and in a sense starting over - although I do plan to resuse the good stuff it'll be organized better and from a clean slate. The carefree wacky college student is now a quasi-grownup with a job and a mortgage and the necessary trappings of an adult. I hope you see that the oddball sense of humor has remained, albeit a bit more refined.
So what about Page Sculptors Inc? Pagesculptor.com was created in 1996 when my casual hobby of throwing personal bits on the web became profitable enough that I needed a separate identity. That became "Webpages by Erica" but evolved to Pagesculptor as I needed to reflect professionalism as I worked with larger clients. After I graduated from college and began working full time it became increasingly difficult to meet all of my client's needs. I stopped taking new clients and helped the others take over their sites or work with other firms. I hold a great fondness in my heart for PageSculptor though, it was a great run during times I remember with a big smile. So, pagesculptor will live on. I still dabble in web design helping a few friends or former clients out from time to time, my graphic and programming skills are now subpar but good enough for this World Wide Pigeonhole (WWP).
Have a look around, enjoy yourself and always remember to laugh.
